Description
Shop window display , designed by John Millar , announcing the Spring Opening with colour theme based on mother of pearl , alabaster & driftwood in a series of six photos including a shop interior display . This window is the menswear display comprising a suit , suit coats and arranged around on the floor and on stands are shirts , ties , shoes , pullover (jersey) , hairbrushes and sundry et's requisites . A Chinese or Japanese theme is carried as backdrop with Chinese characters stating (loosely translated) 'Snowflake , plaster (alabaster) and pearl '. Another character says 'genuine or real '. Black characters painted on the windows state 'Snowflake ' (top two) and 'Plaster (alabaster) ' (bottom two) . Display was mounted relatively early in July .
